悼念在亚特兰大被屠杀的所有8位受害者

匹兹堡烛光悼念会于昨晚6：30在市中心举行。此次烛光悼念会由UCA，welcome Pittsburgh，Governor’s Commission 共同发起，Sunny Yang 律师组织，获得了当地政府及众多族裔的大力支持, 市长Bill Peduto，郡长Rich Fitzgerald 及其他政府代表出席讲话，华裔发言人有Susan Chang （CASTP），Vivian Liang (PCCC )，和Sunny Yang (UCA)，韩裔，非裔，犹太裔，日裔，阿拉伯裔等均有代表发言。CASTP副会长赵海宁和她的丈夫杜博士出席了Vigil。CASTP 董事孙旻医生出席Vigil并全程实况摄影。经CASTP董事会何静会长同意，董事Sunny Yang律师和赵月军博士正在筹备下一个CASTP Zoom讲座，有关美国仇恨犯罪司法条款修订问题。欢迎大家届时接入。

亲爱的朋友们，

谢谢你们今晚参加烛光悼念会，纪念在亚特兰大被屠杀的所有8位受害者其中包括6位亚裔。在此，我们谴责这夺取8 条性命的仇恨犯罪。

CASTP 是一个专业人士和企业经营者组成的非营利组织。多数是华人或者华侨。我们是本地经济的贡献者。每天早上他们准备手术，准备报告，准备计算机程序，准备给客人送餐或者装修房子，等等。我们每日辛苦劳作。我们希望成为未来的一部分，我们就是未开的一部分。我们组织了由西屋电气公司冠名赞助的2019 全球创新峰会，希望帮助把匹兹堡变为未来世界技术中心之一。新冠爆发以来，我们和医院，救济食品银行，学校等等共同努力以尽我们力量解决问题。我们是解决方案的一部分！

仇恨犯罪并不是只是对亚裔的。它是在攻击所有美国人。它是恶毒的犯罪，但是它更是在摧毁美国经济。人身安全和和睦的民众关系是任何一个国家经济发展的必要基础。多元化是美国重要的优势。仇恨犯罪摧毁这个基础。这是攻击我们所有人的社会病毒。所有的美国人团结起来，制止仇恨犯罪。只要我们团结一致，大匹兹堡地区的明天会更美好！

CASTP speech at Pittsburgh Vigil

My dear friends,

Thank you very much this evening for coming to the vigil. We are here to mourn the 8 people that were massacred in Atlanta last week. Six of them were of Asian descent. We are here to condemn the hate crime that took away the eight lives.

CASTP organization is a non-profit by hundreds of professionals that are of Chinese background. We are the contributors to the local economy. Every morning, they prepare for a surgery, a contract, a computer program, a dish for customers, or remodeling work for people’s houses. We work hard every day to contribute something. We want to be part of the future and we are part of the future. CASTP organized the 2019 Global Innovation Summit with the title sponsorship of Westinghouse Electric Corporation. We want to make Pittsburgh one of the next technology centers of in the world. We worked on it. During the pandemic, we worked side by side with the hospitals, schools, food banks, etc. to be part of the solution. We are part of the solution.

The hate crime is not just against Asian Americans, it is against all Americans since, aside from a vicious crime, it ruins the American economy. Safety and harmonic relationship are the very foundation of a country’s economic advancement. Diversity is the unique strength of America. Hate crime destroys the foundation. It is a social virus that is attacking all of us. Let’s unite to against hate crime, all Americans! If we work together, the better days of the Pittsburgh region are yet to come. Thank you.
