春节是全世界华人心中最重要，最隆重的中国传统节日。在这辞旧迎新之际，家家张灯结彩，户户喜气盈盈。为了庆祝农历中国新年，由中国旅美科技协会匹兹堡分会（CASTP）和匹兹堡中华文化中心(PCCC)共同举办的大型春节晚会将于1月29日隆重登场。多年以来，每逢春节来临，由CASTP牵头举办的大型春节文艺晚会已经成为匹兹堡地区华人同庆中国农历新年的一项传统。今年的春晚将邀请150多位演职人员共同演出，我们匹兹堡华人社区每个组织将为大家带来代表咱匹城最高水平的文艺表演，演出包括精彩纷呈的大合唱，歌舞，歌曲，戏曲，民乐，武术表演等各种形式。演员们正在紧锣密鼓地排练，以最好状态出现在春晚舞台上。特别一提的是，今年春晚，我们还邀请了中国文化部选派的一支由12位艺术家组成的文化代表团访问匹兹堡，艺术家们将同我们一起同台联欢，为我们带来百戏之祖昆曲，民族乐器演奏等精选节目。一场饕餮视听盛宴呼之欲出，一定令您大饱眼福！
匹兹堡华人社区在大家的共同努力下，最近几年有了长足的发展。匹兹堡市长Peduto先生特意发来贺信，共庆鸡年，并将今年1月29日定为“中国新年庆祝日”。而Allegheny县长 Fitzgerald先生更将亲临现场并致辞，和大家共同庆祝华人春节！

今年大匹兹堡地区鸡年春晚是由中国旅美科技协会匹兹堡分会（CASTP）和匹兹堡中华文化中心（PCCC）主办，全社区各个组织共同协办的一场大联欢。春晚将在1月29日周日大年初二晚6时在Marshall Middle School ( 5145 Wexford Run Rd, Wexford, PA 15090) 的可容纳900人的大剧场隆重登场，期待您的光临！1月29日周日大年初二晚6时在Marshall Middle School, 我们不见不散！

Great Pittsburgh Chinese New Year Gala will be the best performing arts show for Lunar New Year celebration in greater Pittsburgh area! For the first time ever, Ministry of Culture of China arranged a cultural delegation with 12 top artists joining this Lunar New Year celebration gala!
On January 29th 2017 Sunday, Year of the Rooster celebration gala will bring a memorable evening of joy and excitement to Pittsburgh audience on Sunday.
Led by the internationally acclaimed artists from China, plus the best musicians and artists from Pittsburgh Chinese community will perform a magnificent and elegant show to Pittsburghers, including folk songs, classical dances, and Kunqu Opera etc.
January 29th 2017 Sunday will be also the “Chinese New Year Celebration Day” in whole Allegheny County. Mr. Rich Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of Allegheny County, will join the celebration on the day as well.
This gala is organized by the CASTP Organization (CASTP) and Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center (PCCC).
