Dear friends in Greater Pittsburgh,

The 2020 Chinese New Year Gala is just around the corner on January 18th, 2020!

Chinese New Year, also called Spring Festival, is the biggest festival in Chinese culture. 2020 is the Year of the Rat, which represents great beginnings, fortune, and prosperity.

The CASTP Organization (CASTP) along with Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center (PCCC), and other major Chinese cultural organizations and groups in the Greater Pittsburgh area will bring you a lively and colorful New Year celebration!

We are excited to host our annual Chinese New Year Gala at the Auditorium of the North Allegheny Senior High School (10375 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090). The Gala features a variety of performances as well as fun activities for both kids and adults, including:

  • Receptions between 6PM and 6:30PM
  • Big opportunities to win a variety of surprise prizes and cash in our lucky draw, raffle and 50/50 tickets!
  • Take home greeting couplets written on red paper for good luck
  • Activities such as paper cutting, face painting, clay sculpture making
  • And more …

The Greater Pittsburgh Chinese New Year Gala is sure to be an exciting and joyous night for all ages!

  • Adults and children over 6: $10 per person
  • Children 6 and under are free
