It is our great pleasure to share some important information about our first ever Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Festival. The inaugural 2015 Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Festival will be held on September 19th, in the heart of Oakland on Bigelow Blvd between Forbes Ave and Fifth Ave. This festival provides a chance for the Chinese community to showcase themselves, network and build new connections, positively present Chinese culture, and allow the Chinese community to make an affirmative contribution to the richness of Pittsburgh and the United States as a whole.
 
What can you expect at the first ever 09/19 Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Festival?
 
How about rich Chinese cultural performances from talent both near and far? Near as in professional performers living right here in Pittsburgh, a bit further away from West Virginia, and even further still from Toronto. You will get to see top-tier, world renowned performers, such as those who have been awarded Master of Arts and Crafts from UNESCO, and those straight from China’s national performing and visual arts academies.
Enjoy a spectacle never before seen in Pittsburgh — a Hangzhou Palace Dress fashion show. Take in lion dances, choral performances, traditional dances, Peking Opera, zither solos, martial arts displays, oral rhymes, and much, much more. Touch and feel arts and crafts such as handcrafted embroidery, paper-cutting and figurines that can only be experienced otherwise in China itself.
Don’t forget to treat your taste buds too! Enjoy treats and delicacies from top Chinese and Asian restaurants such as Jimmy Wan’s, Everyday Noodles, Sichuan Gourmet, Chengdu Gourmet, Little Asia, Jade Grill, Tokyo Sushi Buffet, Sake, and T4U.
We even have a few surprises in store as well. You will have the chance to get a super valuable baseball bat with local baseball celebrity Jung-ho Kang’s signature!!! We will have beer from China’s famous Tsingtao Brewery, special commemorative shirts available for purchase, and even a Children’s World area. There’s something sure to delight everyone in the family, and best of all, admission is FREE!

还有两天就是万众瞩目的匹兹堡首届中华文化节了，我们非常激动地和您分享文化节当天的精彩内容，准备了一年的咱们匹兹堡华人社区最大的节日即将绚丽开场！本周六，我们等着您和全家的到来！
贯穿全天的中华文艺汇演精彩倍至，不容错过。既有多伦多，西弗吉尼亚远道而来的知名歌手，杭州南宫的旗袍走秀，又有匹兹堡本地的文艺精粹，舞狮，大合唱，舞蹈，昆曲，古筝，评弹，传统器乐，武术，三句半，不一而足，应有尽有。
现场中华文化体验活动：踢毽子，水写书法 ，教学中国象棋，等等。
获联合国科教文组织授予的工艺美术家称号，三位来自祖国武汉的工艺美术大师将当场献艺，表演雕花剪纸，面塑，以及汉绣等等，超级精彩，敬请期待！
来自Jimmy Wan，天天见面（Everyday Noodle），府河人家（Sichuan Gourmet），老四川（ChenDu Gourmet），小亚洲（Little Asia）， Jade Grill， Tokyo Sushi Buffet， Sake, T4U 等知名中餐馆的招牌菜。
您将有机会获得由Pittsburgh Pirates 著名棒球手Jung-ho Kang签名的棒球棒，我们将现场抽取幸运观众。
